A long adventure...

The observatory

A visual guide to the making of my observatory.

What sits on the pier.

The core business.

The portable astrograph.

This is my portable telescope. Well, the imaging bit is pretty portable, the mount is less portable and it is a real overkill, but there is nothing wrong about that. The link contains a complete characterisation of the Canon 135 mm f2.0 telephoto lens. This piece of glass is very highly regarded by photographer and it certainly deliver some nice images covering the large sensor of the STL 11000 reasonably well.

In the years I used several different software configurations, reflecting on the equipment and experience of the time.
