Objects: VdB 126 (reflection nebula); LBN 133, 134 (dust and reflection nebulae)

Constellation: Vulpecula

Coordinates of field center: 19h 25m +22° 45'

Notes: a faint and rarely imaged reflection nebula against the background of a striking dark cloud.

Telescope and camera: ASA 10', f 3.6; SBIG STL 11000.

Exposure: Luminance 61x8'; R, 14x10'; B 12x10'; G 11x8'. About 14 hrs total.

Date: 3 nights on 14, 15, 31-07-10.

Software used: acquisition, CCDsoft. Calibration; registration and stacking: CCDstack, Registar; processing: PixInsight, Photoshop CS.

Processing notes: very faint nebula. Tricky processing to enhance the most peripheral wisps.

Wide field

This is the almost full frame image, with only minor crop along the right and left edges. This unusual framing actually correspond to the conventional orientation of the field, with the north edge on top. Obviously most of the field is filled with nebulosity with an interesting blending of colors.
