
Objects: B 169 - 171 and B 173 - 174 dark nebulae immersed in the emission of the Sh2-134 nebula.
Constellation: Cepheus
Coordinates of field center: 22h 2m +58° 55'
Notes:
I identified this subject in a wide field
survey image of the area. The dark nebulae east of ic 1396 seemed really
interesting and at the end I was not disappointed.
Telescope and camera: ASA 10', f 3.6; SBIG STL 11000.
Exposure: Luminance 23x8'; RGB 12x8''; Hα 15x16'. Almost 12 hrs total.
Date: 3 nights on 27, 28, 29-07-09.
Software used: acquisition, CCDsoft. Calibration; registration and stacking: CCDstack, Iris; processing: PixInsight, Photoshop CS.
The Hα layer was blended on the Red and Blue channels.
