At the centre of the Virgo cluster lies an alignment of galaxies named the Markarian's chain. Roll over with the mouse to display the annotated overlay: the objects are usually on the left of the label. In this wide field image (about 1° 30' x 1° 10') there are 36 annotated galaxies down to magnitude 18. Notice the asteroid track, as well.
